Your Mid-Michigan Real Estate Connection
With roots tracing back more than a century to the early settlement of Mid-Michigan, Elisabeth Bishop's connection to the community runs deep. A lifelong resident and proud Michigander, Elisabeth brings a genuine love for the area and its people to her work in real estate. As a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Preferred, she is passionate about helping buyers and sellers navigate the market with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.
In her first year-plus in real estate, Elisabeth has helped clients throughout Mid-Michigan achieve their real estate goals, with 24 successful closings and several current listings. Her growing business reflects her dedication to building relationships, understanding her clients' needs, and providing attentive, personalized service throughout every transaction.
Before entering real estate, Elisabeth spent many years as a respected educator, developing the communication, patience, integrity, and attention to detail that continue to shape her approach today. Her personal experience buying and selling homes with her husband while raising their four children has also given her a firsthand understanding of the excitement, challenges, and important decisions that come with finding a home or preparing to sell.
Elisabeth believes real estate is about more than buying or selling a property—it's about people, life transitions, and the next chapter. She is committed to building lasting relationships, providing thoughtful guidance, and helping each client feel informed and supported from the first conversation to the closing table.
Whether you're buying your first home, selling a longtime family home, or exploring your next move, Elisabeth would love to help you find your place in the Mitten.

Ready to take the next steps in buying or selling?
Preparing to Sell
1. Declutter and Depersonalize
Clear countertops, organize closets, and remove excess furniture. Pack away personal photographs and keepsakes to help buyers picture themselves living in the home.
2. Deep Clean Everything
Clean windows, floors, bathrooms, appliances, baseboards, and light fixtures. Pay special attention to kitchens and bathrooms, where cleanliness makes a strong impression.
3. Boost Your Curb Appeal
Mow the lawn, trim shrubs, pull weeds, refresh mulch, and tidy the front entrance. In Michigan, keep seasonal weather in mind and make walkways safe and accessible.
4. Take Care of Minor Repairs
Fix leaky faucets, squeaky doors, loose handles, burned-out bulbs, and chipped paint. Address visible maintenance issues before buyers notice them.

Your Questions, Answered
How do you determine which properties fit my criteria?
We begin with a consultation to understand your goals, budget, and preferred timelines. Using advanced search tools and local market knowledge, we filter listings and present options that align with your priorities.
I want to buy a house. What should I do first?
Start by connecting with a trusted lender to get pre-approved, then we’ll discuss your budget, must-haves, and ideal location. From there, I’ll help you find the right home and guide you through every step!
What should I expect regarding how long it takes to sell?
Every home sale is a little different, but I’ll guide you through each step so you know what to expect along the way. Typically, we’ll spend the first week or two preparing your home, determining the right asking price, and getting everything ready for the market.
Once your home is listed, the time it takes to receive an offer depends on factors like pricing, condition, location, and current market activity. After accepting an offer, closing often takes around 30–45 days, depending on the buyer’s financing, inspections, and the terms of the contract.
My goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible while keeping you informed every step of the way. We’ll create a plan around your timeline and goals, whether you’re hoping to sell quickly or need extra time to prepare for your next chapter.
